Chocolate

An intense debate over chocolate
Dark?
Milk?
Milk is creamy smooth,
Nauseating.
Dark a pool
Of molten tears, laughter
Cooled into bricks.
Healthy?
A bonus.
I care not,
I want not,
Give her dark,
And let her be.
She takes the confection,
Symbol of release
And relief
After a long day,
A long lifetime
Of doing and
Running and
Working.
A morsel, bobbing
Up and down in
A sea of contentment.
